How to get a Spanish Golden Visa

This post  is especially for Non EU Citizens looking for information about the Investors Residence Visa, or How to get a Spanish Golden Visa.

Are you a Non-EU citizen thinking of immigrating to Spain, if yes, then here’s what you need to know about how to get a Spanish Golden Visa. As a Non EU Citizen if you invest a minimum of 500,000€ in Spanish Real Estate then you could be entitled to what has become known as a Spanish Golden Visa. Before I go into the process of how to obtain one of these visas here’s a little back-round information.

How to get a Spanish Spanish Golden Visa Back-round Information:

After a slow start in 2013 the number of Visas granted has risen significantly, from almost 15,000 at the end of 2015 to more than 41,000 by the end of 2017. The majority were given to Chinese and Russian Nationals who in return, invested more than 3,000m€ in Spain. The majority of this investment, in fact more than 77%, was made in Luxury Real Estate. It’s also wise to bear in mind, that since the UK voted to leave the EU back in June 2016, the Golden Visa is also an interesting option for British citizens wishing to take advantage of the freedom of movement within the union.

Today there is no need to acquire a provisional visa as Golden Visas are initially granted for a period of 2 years and can be renewed thereafter if the original requirements are still being met.
